Babes Wodumo got togues wagging as she was spotted performing in a club days after burying her husband, Mandla Mampintsha Maphumlo.
The singer was urged by DJ Tira to reclaim her throne at Mandla’s memorial service, and it appears she’s utilized the advice as she is busy securing the bags while mourning.
The Gqom queen recently performed at the SABC 1 musical festival it got her trending, but she was greatly defended.
A video of her performing at a Durban-based club Views Twenty 5 has surfaced on Facebook and it’s caused a stir.
The lyrics of the song she performed triggered viewers; she is heard singing about not mourning: “Mina angizilile, jkodwa ngiyaziphuzela.”
Facebook users have reacted to the video with mixed reactions.

Because I didn’t allow myself to go through the pain of losing a parent. I understand we mourn people differently if this helps her heal allow her to do it freely”
