Bobo's manager is mistreating him?

Maphorisa has always been praised for giving musicians a platform and helping them reach their stardom stage. Take Kabza De Small, who started making music way before he became a household name. It was all thanks to Maphorisa’s flexibility when it comes to dabbling in many genres.

Madumane has done it all from Afro Beats, Kwaito, House and Dance music, to Gqom. So when he decided to venture into Amapiano, he took Kabza under his wing, and look where they are now.

Following a viral video which circulated all over Twitter and Facebook, of Bobo’s manager talking to his two sisters, many were led to believe that Bobo’s management and family are abusing him financially. His facial expression and body language as well as the tone Bobo’s sister used when talking to him, sent chills down people’s spines.

Bobo has become hot property on social media with his slogan “Ilwa Ntomboo.” The social media star rose to fame a few years ago with his video where he called himself a slay queen and advised girls to vigilant as he would take their men.

With the exploitation that goes around in the entertainment industry, Bobo’s supporters are left with ease knowing that he is working with someone who will not exploit his career. When Maphorisa reached out to Bobo, he replied and gave away his number, showing how eager he is to work with Phori.

DJ Maphorisa ruffled a few feathers a few months ago when he openly teased some artists such as Lady Zamar, Prince Kaybee and others for not owning their masters. He bragged about his artist Kabza De Small saying he lets him own his music masters. This resulted in a back and forth between him and Prince Kaybee who was not impressed by Phori’s choice of words.

With the debate of owning music masters going around and the viral video of Bobo and his manager, his fans are left with ease, and crossing fingers that Phori signs him.

Bobo’s signature phrase Ilwa Ntomboo had been stolen and used by many people in the media industry. But some took it too far when they made a song out of it, as Bobo had planned on releasing a similar song. Addressing this issue he advised his followers not to download it saying the culprits will be dealt with.
