Boyfriend murders girlfriend and dies in crash with her body in car. Standerton: Standerton Police are investigating a case after three people died in a horrific accident on the R23 Volksrust road near Standerton on 9/11/2021.

The fourth person in the car was admitted to Standerton Hospital in a critical condition.

After an intensive investigation by a team of detectives, it was

discovered that there was a party at the flat of one of the couples.

The other couple was allegedly involved in an argument and the 31-year-old boyfriend stabbed his 33-year-old girlfriend to death.

The other couple assisted the boyfriend to load her body into her own car to conceal the body, and on their way to the destination they collided with a truck.

The Police are investigating a case of murder and a case of culpable homicide.

Jeria Ambulance Services, Standerton EMS, Standerton Fire Brigade, Standerton Traffic Department, and Standerton SAPS attended to the accident scene.

The crash victims were the boyfriend of the slain woman and the female friend who had helped load her into the vehicle. The friend’s partner survived and is being treated in hospital.
