Meet a 15 year old girl in Limpopo who built her mother her dream house from selling fat-cakes at school and local bus stop.

Lerato Thaba is an intelligent grade 10 learner .When she realized how her mother was struggling to raise them , she thought of means to help her mother support her and her 2 siblings as her father had passed away and had no one to care for her and her family except for her mother.

“I always dreamt and wanted to be a businesswoman one day when I grew up .So when this opportunity in disguise presented itself I took it with both hands and it really worked for me and my family, “she said.

She made lemonade with the lemons that nature gave her .”I used to get up early around 3 in the morning and start preparing the dough to make fat-cakes. Around 6 I would be done and I’d go to the bus stop to sell the fat-cakes and when I had some left ,I would take them to school and sell them there.
