Over the past few decades, Metro Fm has become a powerhouse of radio stations in South Africa. They have been notoriously known for producing the majority of talented entertainment presenters. They have produced the likes of Bonang as well Lerato Kganyago to list a few.
But over the recent years they have been tainted by scandals of what happens to their workers behind the scenes. Earlier this week, the country was left awestruck after one of South Africa’s most talented television and radio personalities; Pearl Modiadie, decided to break the silence and opened up on some of the most painful experiences that she suffered while she was still working for the radio station.
It seems like she is not alone as Pearl Thusi found the courage to go public with what also happened to here while she was still working for the company.
i love radio and entertainment as a whole, and i am very passionate about what i do, but I would rather die than go back to work for that radio station,” said the actress, presenter and radio personality.
Metro Fm has been home to major talent, and it has been a dominant force in the entertainment industry, but at the rate that things are going; it wont be long until it unfortunately collapses to the ground.
