‘Scandal!’ fans gush over Khanyi Jewel’s first emotional scene. Dintle Nyathi (Mapaseka Koetle-Nyokong) and her daughter, Khanyi Jewel Nyathi (KaiAnn Munyaka) are currently mourning the passing of Jewel’s father Quinton Nyathi (Brighton Ngoma).

Viewers saw Dintle battling to tell her daughter Khanyi Jewel about her father’s passing after his tragic death during the week.

She finally told her daughter with the help of Jewel’s grandmother Layla (Natasha Sutherland) last night because postponing it would’ve only confused her and caused her more frustration.

Khanyi’s emotional reaction left viewers of the show saddened for her whilst the majority of viewers applauded the young actress for her stellar performance.

What was more heartbreaking for fans was the fact that Quinton had shared with their daughter that he wanted to marry Dintle and kept the engagement ring a secret.

QUINTON’S LAST DAYS
Quinton’s memory loss was a blessing in disguise for his daughter and his baby mama as he wanted Khanyi Jewel to be raised by both parents towards the end.

He and Dintle never got along before as he was in love with several women throughout the years and had children with several women.
