Despite the fact that Dube will soon face off against Miss South Africa 2024, Mia le Roux, at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November, the usual rivalry between the two neighbouring countries was momentarily set aside as South Africans were charmed by Dube’s stunning beauty.

The buzz started when @AfricaFactsZone shared photos of Sakhile Dube on X (formerly Twitter) with the simple caption, “Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024, Sakhile Dube.” The images quickly gained attention, and the comments section was filled with admiration from South Africans. Many praised Dube’s looks, while some even playfully claimed her as their own, pointing to her surname as evidence. One user went further, explaining the origins of Dube’s surname and its significance.

Three Facts About Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024, Sakhile Dube:]

In November 2020, Sakhile Dube was crowned Miss Tourism Zimbabwe at a pageant held at The Venue in Avondale, Harare. She outshone 11 other contenders, earning an automatic ticket to represent Zimbabwe at the Tourism International Pageant in China.
At the time she was crowned Miss Tourism Zimbabwe, Dube was pursuing a psychology degree at the Women’s University in Zimbabwe.
Dube has also made appearances in music videos, including Winky D’s “Kasong Kejecha.”
