Kagiso Ranaka. An inconsolable Manaka revealed the sad news through social media. “Oh, cuz but why??? I still can’t believe you are gone! Robala ka kgotso ngwana ko gae.” She posted.

Kagiso was only 34-years-old. He was born on the 5th of September 1984 and passed away on the 9th of May 2021. May his soul rest in peace. The Generations The Legacy actress did not disclose the cause of Kagiso’s passing.

Season 4 of the Ranaka which debuted in January this year was well received by the masses. According to a report by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, the reality show was the most-watched on DSTV.

With 613k viewers pulled for the show’s top episode in April, this made The Ranakas the 10th most watched program on DStv and the leading reality show across the platform.”

In December 2020, Manaka Ranaka announced through social media that she had given birth to a healthy baby boy.

The actress kept her pregnancy away from the public through most of 2020. She first confirmed the news to Daily Sun and slammed those who were hoping that she’d have a baby boy.

“It’s the same feeling I felt when I had my two daughters, so this experience is nothing new. People have been saying they hope I’m carrying a boy, but we’ll see. I look forward to giving birth to a child. I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl, as long as it’s not an animal,” said Manaka.

“Boys and girls are equally important and have different functions in society. “I don’t believe that boys are necessarily better. According to society and cultural norms, they’re carriers of legacies. Girls also bring kids into this world.”
