Why Malefu Was Fired From The River

Actress Moshidi Motshegwa, who played the character of Malefu on The River was written out of The River abruptly and fans were left hurt, confused, and disappointed.

Moshidi Motshegwa revealed that she got written out of the show following her beef with Larona Moagi who plays Tumi. The River showrunners accused her of being unnecessarily cruel to Larona Moagi.

Moshidi Motshegwa who is an accomplished actress said she felt Larona Moagi was not acting well. She spoke to IOL about her meeting with snow runner Gwydion Beynon.

“I had gone to meetings with him about the scripts and Gwydion told me to stop being cruel to Larona”
