23-Year-Old Lady Escapes Death After Being Robbed And Stabbed By Bolt Driver. Not for sensitive viewers| A 23-year-old lady was robbed by a Bolt Driver in Cape Town on Sunday Morning.

The knife-wielding driver left the lady, Lynn (not real name), traumatised after she was beaten, stabbed, robbed of her valuables and left on the roadside in a pool of blood.

The lady had requested for Taxify (Bolt) from Brooklyn to Cape Town CBD. Upon arrival, the driver who was on time looked friendly until when they got to the middle of the N2 road. “When I entered, he greeted me well but when we got to N2 he stopped the car and told me to give him my phone. I then refused, he started swaying a knife, requesting for the phone,” Lynn exclusively told Media .

“When he realised that I had hidden my phone, he started drawing lines on my face. I asked him to take the money I had, R1 000 and not my phone as I had just bought it. He refused.

“When I resisted, he choked and slapped me until he saw that there was a car approaching us. He then stabbed me on my hands and thighs and threw me out of the car.”

After she was pushed out of the car Lynn tried stopping cars that were passing by, however, none assisted. Fortunately, a police van approached where she was and took her to Groote Schuur Hospital. The Bolt driver made away with her bag and shoes.
