Another KZN Artist Suffers A Stroke. Music producer and artist manager DJ Kotini, has reportedly suffered a stroke. This is according to Durban-based artist Tzozo.

Speaking to the SABC, “Our very own DJ Kokini. We are happy that he is out of the hospital. He was in Joburg and came back to KZN yesterday. He is still sick,” he said.
Derrango Records, the label of award-winning artist Thokozani Sphamandla Ndlovu, better known as L’vovo has slammed hurtful rumors of the singer’s alleged demise.
This follows after sensitive social media users shared that the musician had died causing panic on social media. In a statement, the label pleaded with the public to refrain from spreading the fake rumours.
The label issued an update on his health and said he is making excellent progress in his recovery. “This notification serves to dispel the trending rumours that he has passed. This is untrue and grossly hurtful to his family. He is still hospitalised and making excellent progress,” read part of the statement.
“This is a public notification to media, events promoters, fans, and all relevant stakeholders by Derrango Records on behalf of its multi-award winning artist by the name of Thokozani Sphamandla Ndlovu also known as ‘Lvovo Derrango’.
On Saturday, the record label shared that the singer was admitted to a hospital after he suffered a stroke during a performance in Ndwedwe, KwaZulu-Natal.

“Lvovo Derrango suffered a minor stroke during his performance at Indwedwe on [Friday]. He is admitted at the hospital for medical attention and he is responding very well. We kindly ask that you keep him in your prayers and we’re confident that he will come out of this difficult situation stronger. The family kindly ask for public and media to respect their privacy during this difficult time,” read the statement.
In other news, Mzansi is still mourning the death of multi-award-winning musician Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo, who suffered a stroke that landed him in hospital last week. Unfortunately, he passed away on Saturday 24 December 2022.
