Boity Faces a Financial Crisis Over Her R4.2 Million Centurion Home. South African media personality and entrepreneur Boity Thulo is reportedly at risk of losing her R4.2 million mansion in Centurion due to an unpaid loan. According to court documents, the property could be repossessed if the outstanding debt is not settled, highlighting the financial pressures even high-profile celebrities can face.

The sangoma, musician and entrepreneur borrowed money from Leemark Financial Services to finance the home.This is according to reports by Daily Sun. The company has since applied for a judgement after Boity failed to make loan repayments. The reports states that Boity paid R3.7 million (R3 708 187,00) and failed to pay the rest which is a balance of more than R400 000 (491 813,00) was outstanding.
Boity bought her first house in 2016. At the time of her purchase, she was 26 years old. When she bought the home, Boity said she knew it came with responsibility.
“Ownership comes with a massive sense of responsibility and an understanding of what is important.
“When you own something you treat it like a child … I have a better understanding of time, and things I shouldn’t waste my breath on, as it takes away from the things I should be focusing on.”

She bought her Centurion mansion for over R4.2 million in 2021 and the property was registered under her name in March 2022.
