Muvhango actor Tebatso Mashishi is reportedly under police custody for stealing a laptop and cellphone from his ex-fiance, Nanamhla Dalisile.

According to reports, Tebatso’s girlfriend and Durban Gen actress Nanamhla opened a case against the actor, leading to his arrest on Wednesday, this week.

It is alleged that Tebatso who is known for portraying Kgosi on the soapie Muvhango, went to Nanamhla’s apartment in Randburg to collect his clothes from the actress before stealing the two gadgets.

In an interview with Sunday World, Dalisile said she initially phoned her estranged lover to come and collect his clothes which she had mistakenly packed after parting ways.

When I was unpacking my clothes from the suitcase, I realized that I had packed his clothes in it by mistake. I called him and told him that I had taken his clothes by mistake and that he should come and take them. He told me that he would come and take them because he too has been looking for them for a while.

She added:

I told him that I’m no longer staying in Tembisa but my new apartment in Randburg and I sent him the location to come.

I told him to check the clothes in the wardrobe and just close the door before he could leave as I was rushing out to the gym. He agreed and I left him in there.

After returning from the gym, the actress revealed that she found her laptop and cellphone missing which prompted her to call Tebatso enquiring about the gadgets.

After making several calls to Tebatso who didn’t pick up, Nanamhla then decided to take legal action against her ex-boyfriend whom she is accusing of taking revenge on her following their nasty breakup.

On Friday, I went to Douglasdale Police Station where I opened a case of theft against him. The case was later transferred to Fairland Police Station for investigation because my area falls under its jurisdiction. I know them because he needed them. He has a lot of money; he can afford them. He took them because he just wants to punish me for dumping him.
