DJ Lamiez to pay for the tombstone of the boy killed during father’s hijacking

Lamiez Holworthy has offered to pay for the tombstone of a five-year-old boy who was murdered during a hijacking.

The hideous incident happened outside the boy’s home in Soshanguve.

Ditebogo Junior Phalane had gone outside the house to welcome his father who had just arrived home just after 10 pm on Friday night when hijackers pounced on them.

Lamiez offered to help provide a tombstone for the deceased after the father’s cousin and family spokesperson, Gift Makoti made a request for it on X.

“I have no words. My heart breaks, not only as a mother, but as someone who is proudly Pretorian, this can’t be our norm. Ka hana (I refuse). I’d like to pay for Ditebogo Jr’s tombstone,” she wrote.

Ditebogo Jr’s father is currently fighting for his life in hospital, while the family is mourning the death of the young boy.
