Limpopo-born superstar King Monada has finaly proposed to his girlfriend after dating for 10 years.

Taking to Instagram, King Monada shared a video of the big moment. He captioned the video:

“If you tell me you love me, I might not believe you but if you show me you do, then I will. “

His girlfriend Lerato Ramawela could not believe what was happening and was overcome with emotions.

Voices of people cheering could be heard from the video.

In the comment section, congratulatory messages poured in and amongst the comments there’s one from fellow musicians Makhadzi and Lady Du.

Makhadzi wrote:

“Oh my god! I am happy for Lerato, my friend. Congratulations to you guys. Lerato, you deserve this. I know these are tears of joy,” wrote the Ghanama hitmaker

Lady Du wrote:

“OMG I love this so much! Please, I’d like to personally write a love song for your wedding and perform it free of charge.”

Recently, it was reported that King Monada launched his own condom brand named after his song, ‘Ex Yaka’.

The condom can be ordered and bought directly from him and his team.

The condoms are packaged in black wrappers and have ‘King Monada Ex Yaka’ written on the front.
