Kuli Chana is inconsolable, “The Hardest Thing Is Not Being Able To Take My Husband’s Pain Away”- Lamiez. DJ Lamiez Holworthy has opened up about the pain her husband Kuli Chana is experiencing following the tragic passing of South African rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes.

Kuli Chana is inconsolable

AKA and his former manager Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane were gunned down in Durban on Friday night. Social media has been flooded with tributes following their passing. According to police, the evidence so far suggests that AKA’s murder was the result of an assassination.

Lamiez, who is expecting her first child with Kuli Chana, has taken to Instagram to share how her husband is coping with the death of his friend. She revealed that he is inconsolable and said the hardest thing is not being able to take away the pain from him.

“The hardest thing about this all is not being able to take my husband’s pain away. Not having the right words to comfort him. To comfort everyone enduring all this pain. All this whilst trying to remain positive and excited for my son. I hate it here,” she wrote.

Kuli Chana recently visited the Forbes family to offer his condolences and words of support.

The Forbes family continues to celebrate the life of their son. To honor his legacy, they have chosen to continue with the release of The Mass Country album on the 24th of February 2023 as planned.

In the last two years, Mass Country has become AKA’s entire world. The SUPA MEGA constantly kept the album release momentum and anticipation high. He first made an announcement of the album on the 10th of January 2023, via Instagram with a post of the artwork captioned with the album title and release date.

Nivo Manager & Co-Executive Producer of Mass Country shared: “The team was extremely blessed to work so closely on this project with Kiernan. We spent a lot of time mapping out this rollout and creating all the content we have under his direction. Kiernan worked tremendously hard on this project. He put his heart and soul into it, and we were blessed that Kiernan got the opportunity to map out this entire rollout and approve all the elements, so what will be coming out will be as per his direction and his vision. We thank the Forbes family for their faith in the entire team working on this project.”
