A devastating tragedy has struck the community of Vanderbijlpark after **11 learners lost their lives while traveling to school in a scholar transport vehicle**. According to preliminary information, the learners were on their way to school when the scholar transport they were traveling in was involved in a fatal accident. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, 11 children were declared dead. Several others sustained injuries of varying degrees and were transported to nearby medical facilities for urgent treatment.
