Cassper  sinking into depression. South African rapper Cassper Nyovest, real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo, could be sinking into depression because of the tragic and untimely death of his former best friend, Rikhado “Riky Rick” Makhado.

Riky Rick took his own life on 23 February 2022, and a suicide note which leaked later revealed that the rapper has suffered for so long from depression, and had reached a point where he could not take it anymore, leading to him sadly giving up. He also admitted in various interviews, and on his podcast, LAB LIVE, that he had chronic depression, and he had attempted suicide in the past.

Hip hop artist Cassper Nyovest has been sharing a series of low and depressing posts on his social media accounts. He has admitted that Riky Rick’s death, unexpected as it was, hit him real hard, despite them no longer being on talking terms by the time he died.
