Dakalo Gift Molope, who debuted on e.tv’s Scandal! in May as Dintle Nyathi’s long-lost daughter Motshabi Martins, recently opened up about juggling acting and becoming a sangoma at the age of 16.

Dakalo Gift Molope, better known as Motshabi Martins on Scandal!, revealed that her life changed eight months ago when she had to attend initiation school and become a sangoma.

The rising star also revealed that she recently turned 16 and had to come to terms with the fact that she is not like other teenagers.

She also claims to have always known she was different and that she now goes by the name Mkhulu Phahla Metsing.
Molope is also excited to honor her great-grandfather and has accepted the calling because of all he has done for her.
