SA singer, Simphiwe Dana officially confirmed on Thursday that she’s gay. The star took to Twitter and spoke about how Africans might choose to block her due to her stand. Simphiwe Dana has Confessed being gay – I’m marrying a woman.
She further revealed her plans of getting married to the woman, whose photo she shared.
After much observation, the woman is named Pumeza Matshikiza, and she’s an international opera singer.
“I know coming out means Africa will block me. But, after a lot of thinking, I’m ok with it. I’m marrying a woman, and I’ve never been happier.
