The Skeem Saam September teasers reveal that Sthoko’s crush; Alfred will receive devastating news from his wife Celia next Friday, 9 September regarding where she stands regarding their marriage.

This will be Alfred’s second divorce after Molahlegi (Tsholo Mashaba) if he and his current wife divorce.
The TVSA Friday 9 September teaser reads: “Alfred is devastated to learn where Celia stands regarding their marriage.”

Sthoko (Inno Sadiki) will be perfect for Alfred (Putla Sehlapelo) because they developed feelings for each other in a previous season but couldn’t act on those feelings because of his marriage to Celia.

Celia’s absence means that Alfred is vulnerable and might file for divorce because she might never return to Turfloop.

Sthoko is also single after her failed marriage to Clement’s father, Dennis, who was abusive towards her. They are both educators, have a lot in common, have children, and have been married before.

Viewers of the educational soapie were devastated for Alfred when his wife didn’t call or attend his promotion party last night because they’ve been looking forward to it for years.

Fan-favourite actress Shoki Mmola, who’s been playing the role of Celia Magongwa for a decade surprised fans of the SABC1 soapie when she bowed out as Alfred Magongwa’s wife, and Rachel Kunutu, Nimza Kunutu, Mahlatse Kunutu, and Bushang Magongwa’s mother in June this year.
