Update: Two men claim they sold Joslin Smith for muthi. Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the six-year-old Joslin Smith’s disappearance two weeks ago.

JOSLIN SMITH SOLD?

The Citizen three men were reportedly arrested on Tuesday, 5 March in connection with the disappearance of the Grade 1 pupil, Joslin Smith.

Sources have revealed that two of the three suspects confessed to selling Smith for R20 000.

Western Cape police spokesperson Malcolm Pojie previously told Daily Maverick that door-to-door searches were conducted.

“Door-to-door searches were conducted and concluded on Saturday and the investigating team will still respond to substantial and constructive information received,” he said.

eNCA reports that there’s still no sign of missing six-year-old Saldanha Bay girl who went missing over two weeks ago.

The six-year-old went missing on 19 February and her mother, Kelly Smith, reported her missing 16 days ago.

SEARCH CONTINUES
Patriotic Alliance (PA) leader Gayton McKenzie has urged South Africans to continue praying for the missing Laerskool Diazville pupil.

McKenzie announced that a R100 000 reward to anyone with information regarding her whereabouts.

Anyone with information on Joslin Smith’s whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Millstine, of Vredenburg FCS at 079 879 8588 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111, alternatively Missing Children SA at 072 647 7464.
