10 Months later, See Killer Kau’s girlfriend. Sakhile Hlatshwayo, best known as Killer Kau was an award-winning rapper, dancer and producer who was born in Soweto on 5th July 1998.

The little artist soared to stardom in 2017 after posting a video of himself performing Tholukuthi Hey. The video went viral, attracting the attention of DJ Euphonik, who helped Killer Kau record his first hit song and establish his career as a musician.

Death selected Killer Kau at the height of his youth and growth on August 9, 2021, one month after his 23rd birthday.

The musician was on his way to a show in Rustenburg, North West, when his automobile was engaged in a horrific collision that killed him, his closest friend and Amapiano artist- Mpura, and emerging talents Khanya “The Voice” Hadebe, DJ Thando Tot, and TD.

Olwethu Mkhwanazi was Killer Kau’s girlfriend. While Killer Kau was alive, the two were exceedingly discreet about their relationship and rarely posted photos on social media.

The only time we saw Killer Kau’s girlfriend on social media was when he shared a photo of them in a passionate embrace on his 23rd birthday, but her face was obscured and he didn’t tag or name her.

Killer Kau’s tragic death impacted his closest friends, particularly his girlfriend.

Olwethu Mkhwanazi posted a heartbreaking tribute to her late partner on Instagram, stating there was no greater anguish than what she felt that day. She posted a tragic video montage of the two together.

Killer Kau’s girlfriend ignited an internet discussion when she said she will always love and miss him but was ready to move on.

Half of the internet criticized her for moving on too early, but the other half said she was still young and hadn’t even been Killer Kau’s wife.

Olwethu may still be taking her time and focusing on herself, considering she recently graduated from college.
